Poetry is the timeless voice of the earth.
The voice of the soul.
Like dreams, myths and music, poems wash up on our shores from the great beyond and whisper to our hearts ... mysteriously and skillfully permeating the noise and weight of the world.
Like some divine presence breathing fresh air into our lungs, poetry comes as our salvation and inspiration in the darkest of times, giving us the kiss of life.
“Then you hold life like a face
between your palms, a plain face,
no charming smile, no violet eyes,
and you say, yes, I will take you
I will love you, again.”1
We would like to wonder out loud with you about poetry as medicine and prayer.
We have our pockets full of delicious, healing poems to unlock our hearts and minds. Will you gather with us to bathe in the compassionate ocean of poetry?
